Produced by Michael Schenker and Michael Voss, the new album ‘My Years With UFO’ marks the 50th anniversary of Schenker's era with UFO, spanning from 1972 to 1978. Touring the globe as a teenager, Schenker became a driving force behind some of UFO's most loved tracks, such as ‘Doctor Doctor’, ‘Rock Bottom’, ‘Lights Out’, and many more.

哀愁漂う歌唱力



見事なヴィブラート

熟練の技が光る

アマチュアのギター演奏の「何が駄目」って、このハンドヴィブラートのテクニックだと思う。大きな「うねり」を伴うヴィブラートを掛けることができるか？エレクトリックギターという楽器の最大のセールスポイントは「チョーキング（ベンド）」だと、Gムーアが指摘したことがある。まったく同感。そしてもう１つは「ハンドヴィブラート」テクニックだと思う。聴衆の感情を左右するテクニックだと思うけどねえ。

それにしてもPモグは、一流のギタリストを見つけてくる才能がある。非凡なセンス。Rブラックモアは、一流のボーカリストを発掘する能力に長けていて、やはり異能。

ところが、良いボーカルを見つける才能が「全くない」のがMシェンカーだった（笑）。
